The New Mexico Human Needs Coordinating Council (HNCC) is the statewide organization composed of over 1200 advocacy organizations, churches, clinics, pueblos, government agencies, service providers and individuals working together for 20 years to improve the quality of life for New Mexicans.

We are focusing during the 2008 Legislative Session on some key issues of importance to New Mexican families. These include:

Health Care Reform Legislation
Maximizing Medicaid
Increasing funding for the New Mexico Food Bank Association Program and New Mexico produced food
Increasing funding for the Housing Trust Fund
Increasing funding for services for disabled and mentally-challenged persons
Increasing funding for services for children
Increasing funding for Individual Development Accounts, IDAs
